When You Need Professional Recovery

Standard data recovery methods have limits. Professional lab recovery is for serious situations where your data is truly irreplaceable.

Common Recovery Scenarios

If any of these situations sound familiar, professional data recovery may be your best option:

Hard drive making clicking or grinding noises
Drive not detected by your computer
Accidentally deleted important files
Formatted drive by mistake
SSD suddenly stopped working
RAID array failure
Water or fire damage to storage device
USB drive or memory card corruption

What We Can Recover

From everyday accidents to serious hardware failures, we recover data from almost every type of storage device.

Failed hard drives (HDDs)

Clicking, grinding or no-spin drives, mechanical failures and drives no longer detected by your computer.

Failing SSDs

Solid-state drives that have stopped responding, dropped out, or become unreadable after a firmware or controller fault.

RAID & NAS arrays

Multi-disk RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 configurations and network storage after one or more drives fail.

Deleted or formatted files

Accidentally deleted documents, photos and folders, or a drive that was formatted or reset by mistake.

USB drives & memory cards

Corrupted flash drives, SD and microSD cards that show as blank, raw or unreadable in your device.

Virus & ransomware loss

Data made inaccessible by malware or ransomware, plus files lost after a virus removal or system crash.

Understanding the Investment

Professional data recovery is a specialized service for critical situations.

This isn't standard computer repair — it's advanced forensic recovery performed in certified cleanroom environments by highly trained specialists using proprietary tools.

Pricing varies significantly based on the type of failure, device complexity, and amount of data. Recovery costs typically range from several hundred to several thousand dollars.

The "No Data, No Fee" policy means you only pay if your data is successfully recovered — removing the financial risk of attempted recovery.

Contact us for a free initial assessment. We'll help you understand your options before any costs are incurred.

Important: Act Quickly, But Carefully

If your drive has failed, stop using it immediately. Continued use can cause permanent data loss. Don't attempt DIY recovery methods — they often make professional recovery harder or impossible. Contact us for proper guidance.

Data Recovery FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most about recovering lost data.

How long does data recovery take?

It depends on the type of failure. Simpler logical recoveries can be completed in a few days, while complex mechanical or cleanroom cases can take one to two weeks. You’ll get a clear timeframe with your quote before any work begins.

How much does data recovery cost?

Every case is different, so we don’t quote a flat price. Cost depends on the device, the type of failure and how much data is involved. You’ll always receive a detailed quote to approve before recovery starts, and with our No Data, No Fee policy you don’t pay for the recovery if your data can’t be retrieved.

Is my data kept confidential?

Yes. Your data is handled in ISO 27001-certified facilities under strict confidentiality. Recovered files are returned to you on new media and your privacy is protected throughout the process.

Can you recover water-damaged or physically broken drives?

Often, yes. Physically damaged, water-affected and fire-affected drives are recovered in a certified cleanroom environment. Stop using the device immediately and don’t try to dry or power it on — bring it to us as-is for the best chance of recovery.

Do I come to you or do you come to me?

Both options work. We’re mobile across South Brisbane and Logan, so we can collect your device, or you can arrange a drop-off. Get in touch and we’ll organise the easiest option for you.

We provide mobile data recovery across South Brisbane and the Logan City area — including Beenleigh, Loganholme, Springwood, Browns Plains and surrounding suburbs. Whether your drive failed at home or in the office, we’ll help you get your files back.
